Pathway 1.0.1 sprint Candidate release

These are the changes in this sprint release…

  • Common
    • TD-2702, TD-2703, TD-2704: call PSExport methods from PathwayB to launch the export process (same calls as FLEx and PT make). This makes sure the CSS gets merged properly and the appropriate stylesheet is selected. Also added a flag (-s) to show the ExportThroughPathway dialog, so that users can select their own output / stylesheet if desired.
    • TD-2729, TD-2459: remove hard-coded copyright info phrase from PreExportProcess.GetCopyrightInfo().
    • TD-2716: out of memory and TD-2513: “Reference source not found” error message in exported file.
    • TD-2700: New Akosse concerns
    • Modified the User Local environment path for Dictionarystylesettings.xml
    • Disable Redo/Undo code for CT bug
    • TD-2664: Crash while clicking on Export button from the Export Window in Windows 7 OS
    • TD-2710: Move settings folder
    • Work around to make homograph numbers subscripted in reversal until Flex fixes its xhtml export bug.
    • Modified the stylesettings.xml file inserted the node for organization.
    • Replace hard-coded path separator chars in GetFiledWorksPath (sic) with calls to Path.DirectorySeparatorChar.
    • TD-2519: allow “counter(sense, disc)” to remain in the CSS file, so bulleted senses format properly.
    • TD-2676, TD-2690: Linux – clicking on Preview tab crashes the Configuration Tool
    • TD-1730: “Save as” button does not working after click on 5 times.
    • TD-2730: ValidateDefaultPrintVia() had some old wording for OpenOffice that was causing the settings validation to fail if the user selected PDF and then restarted the configuration tool.
    • TD-2713, TD-2723: exception thrown when using illegal xml chars in organization name. Encoded the organization name string AND ALL metadata string values. Also backed out some changes to the select organization dialog and added some better comments to explain the logic flow (the select org dialog should only appear once when you first run Pathway).
    • Update and simplify ReadMePw.rtf to reflect current realities and issues that the user can understand.
    • TD-2714: added TE_XHTML-to-epub_XHTML.xslt and punct_XHTML.xslt to the SE installer.
    • TD-2750: Bootstrap prototype for latest Versions of Fieldworks and Paratext
  • E-Book
    • TD-2708: extra brackets in reversal index fields; the xslt to fold the CSS content into the xhtml was getting run twice on the reversal index fields. Also fixed spacing for the .pronunciations class.
    • One more style: sense-complexform-form.
    • TD-2707: add spacing styles for pronunciation, etc.
    • TD-2706: optimization for gigantic epub exports. 1.5 hours down to 30 minutes for Greek dictionary data for Ron M. Also split out dictionaries into 100K files, similar to what we do for scripture data.
  • Go Bible
    • TD-2572: Go Bible / remove BOM from xhtml file, per David H. (Crosswire).
  • InDesign
    • TD-2725: NKOu3 crashes on export from Paratext and TD-2724: Nkonya export to InDesign crashes
  • Libre Office / Open Office
    • TD-2748: Crash on Reversal export to Open Office
    • TD-2736: Use FontName from XHTML meta tag information
    • TD-2735: Indic Issues
    • TD-2717: extra space before homograph
  • Web
    • TD-1662, TD-1663: convert Cherokee via ExampleTable.xsl and Xhtml2Blog.py to create web site with navigation and weighted searches.
